Engineering:

• Project management and engineering work for nine solar PV designs for a selection of Total petrol stations, at CONCO Energy Solutions.

• Managing the composition and submission of tenders at engineering and consulting companies: Linkd, Romano and CONCO. This included technically critical tenders for Eskom, various municipalities, Kenya’s power utility, South Africa's The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and  Airports Company South Africa (ACSA)

• Project management support for global company Canadian Solar’s bid for South Africa's Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement (REIPPP) programme

• Business Development and Technical Manager: Rhino Energy Solutions 

• Business Development and Design Engineer: CONCO Energy Solutions 

• Solar Project Developer: Romano Sustainable Engineering 

• Digital solution to manage queues at water points during Cape Town's Day Zero / Water Crisis

• Provisional patent to digitise paper mail 

Project Management:

• Project managed various research and consulting projects at Linkd Environmental Services, including the Renewable Energy Conference for the Eastern Cape Department of Economic Development; and helped develop the business case for a waterfront at the Port Elizabeth harbour

• StatsSA Labour Force Survey Supervisor: Managed a team of three to conduct the Labour Force Survey

• StatsSA R&D Project Manager: Investigated and tested new technology for gathering data

• Project and programme manager: 2010 Soccer Film Festival (44 screenings staged at venues across South Africa)

• Media project manager: Free Mandela Film Festival, Cape Town

• Managing three property renovations - one to the value of R450,000 - which comprised ten different contractors, the procurement of all the building supplies and a time frame of three to four months

Consulting:

• The completion of four pre-feasibility studies for the South African Cities Network (SACN) Municipal Programme for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, including: energy efficiency in street lighting and municipal buildings, solar water heating and micro-hydro potential in municipal water infrastructure

• Contracted by the South African PV Association to do research, development and lobbying of amendments to the NEMA EIA regulations, so that PV implementation on certain developed land is exempt from certain regulations and project development is thus streamlined

• Research support and project coordination for the final re-drafting of Chapter 5 of the National Development Plan: “Sustainable Development and an Equitable Transition to a Low Carbon Economy” for the National Planning Commission

• Research of the market “story-lines” on renewable energy, energy efficiency, transport and biofuels as inputs to the baseline study informed the DBSA on how best to spend and implement the R800-million Green Economy Fund for the Department of Environmental Affairs

• Business development and strategy for a clothing startup: Bam Bam Merchandise

• Business analysis, research and specification design for municipal IT systems

• Research of new business concepts and technology opportunities for Tellumat's R&D department

• Social media setup, training and management for DA Minister in Parliament Ian Ollis

• Strategy and programme development for WITs’ Tshimologong entrepreneurship hub

• Digital setup and management for online news startup, Makoya News
